  • N***er
  • How can racism be stopped and how can change be shown?
  • "People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love..."
  • "No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion..."
  • - Obama
  • This scene is from the movie '42' which shows an African American playing a white sport and being treated like trash. '42' is an example of racism, specifically in this scene. This allows the audience to feel sorrowful for the hardships that African Americans or anyone who has suffered racism faced and feel as if they are connected. Music will stop until the end of the scene from the movie. Pan, overhead, close up, full, long and mid shot are used.
  • Racism Starts With You
  • And then can lead onto the rest of the world
  • Owing to the fact that this is an advocacy video, the aim of the video is to show change to a certain topic. The main topic on display is racism and therefore, ways racism can be changed and stopped are going to be listed. This allows the audience to know how racism can be stopped. The audience is then able to apply these things into their lives, creating a civilised nation. Music will be used which will add an happy effect to the film as the viewers will feel happy when listening to it.
  • That is my son you are talking about on the field!
  • This is a quote which has recently been published by Barak Obama on his twitter page and has received millions of likes. This quote allows us to identify that we are all taught by others and use others as an example of how we act and their beliefs. People in the world should promote peace causing those from a young age to promote and fight for love and peace for one another. The music being played will be inspiring and make the audience feel as if they need change to occur in this world.
  • This scene is a way racism can be stopped in the world, if the whole world thought about what they are doing by showing racism, racism won't be as common. When this scene is taken into thought by the audience, they'll begin to live by this making racism less likely to occur. Medium, close up and under shots will be used in this scene. Inspirational music will be used so that message seems clearer to the audience.
  • This is a scene from the movie 'The Blind Side' where the man in the red is being racist to the woman in the white's son. The woman in the white defends her adopted son on the field due to the racist remarks the man was making towards him. This shows the audience how to not show racism, defend those who are receiving racism and putting down those who are showing racism in the world. There is no music being played in this scene. The film techniques close up, mid and extreme close up are used.
