  • The video will begin with Martin Luther King saying his memorable "I have a dream" speech which captivated the nation and promoted peace. Various film techniques are used such as a close up, pan shot and mid shot. There will be music playing behind this video to have an affect on emotions experienced. This gives viewers a chance to experience the agony of people who suffered huge amounts of racism as all they wanted was peace amongst one another.
  • What is Racism?
  • The topic of discrimination is introduced with images being used to emphasise this. This will give the audience an idea of what the main subject of the video is. Due to the last slide, it is made rather obvious that racism sub topic of discrimination used. Music will be used to make the audience feel as if they have been uplifted. The film techniques used will be a full and close up.

  • This slide exhibits an everyday example of acts of racism. The Cronulla riots was a dispute between "Aussies" and "Wogs" due to their race, beliefs and habits.  This allows the audience to exhibit the common trends which come with racism and the extreme lengths it can take in real life. No music will be used in this area of the video. Overhead, pan and a high angle shot will be used for this section.

  • Racism is then defined. By defining Racism, understanding common themes related to racism and events throughout the film will come easier for the audience. Music will resume to give an effect on not only the video, but the audience. Film techniques including, close up, mid, over-the-shoulder, POV and Overhead shot are used.
  • A presenter will be explaining the cause and effect of racism. This can allow the audience to gain a full meaning of what racism is, what makes it so common and how people targeted by this racism are affected. There will be music playing different from the past 20 seconds due to the change in setting. The music used will make the information provided more absorbable to viewers as it is less distracting. Film techniques such as, mid shot, close up and low angle are going to be used.
  • This scene shows a large group of people protesting against racism. This is an example of a protest group and how protestors affect the issue of racism positively and negatively will be examined. This shows the role protestors play in our society and the way they are able to change people's perspectives. Mid, full, long and over-the-shoulder shot are used in this scene. Music will continue, however will change into something more inspiring to make the audience feel inspired.
