  • The study aimed to prove that there is no structural change in the brain when we learn a new skill.
  • A group of homogenous young adults (21 male and 3 female) voulenteered for the experiment
  • They were separated into 2 groups by age and sex.
  • Before they learn anything
  • When they became skilled jugglers
  • The two groups went through three brain scans
  • 3 months after they stopped using the skill
  • Then the subjects were taught how to juggle three objects
  • Learning enduced cortical plasticity is also induced at a structural level. (The brain has structural changes when you learn)
