And finally, this is my library, it has a wide window which provides a full view of Lake Lachrymose!
The book of a series of unfortunate events begins with the arrival of the Baudelaire orphans (Violet, Klaus, and the infant Sunny) to the town in which their new guardian (Aunt Josephine) lives in.
Poor Aunt Josephine...
No, this can't be possible
The orphans meet Aunt Josephine and discover she has a fear of every electrical appliance in the house, and that he has an insane obsession over grammar.
Aunt Josephine! I knew you weren't really gone!
While going grocery shopping, the orphans bump into a man named Captain Sham, yet later discover that he is Count Olaf (a wicked man after them for their family fortunes) in disguise. They attempt to tell Aunt Josephine, but she refuses to believe.
Don't worry, I'll come back... very soon
He's running away !
One day, the Baudelaires wake up searching for their Aunt Josephine, only to discover that he has jumped from the wide window in the library, taking her life, which they ensure through her note. The orphans also find out that Captain Sham, also known as Count Olaf will become their new legal guardian.
Klaus discovers that Aunt Josephine left a hidden message in the note, clarifying that she is alive and that she is hiding in a cave far away from her home, and that she was threatened to do so by Count Olaf, consequently the Baudelaires sail through Lake Lachrymose and find Aunt Josephine.
The Baudelaire orphans return back to town with Aunt Josephine proving to Mr. Poe (the man in charge of the Baudelaire orphans) that Captain Sham is actually Count Olaf in disguise. Count Olaf manages to run away before getting caught.
