Benolio and Mercutio try to convince Romeo to go to the masquerade party but Romeo has a bad feeling about going. The masquerade relates to the theme that love is blinding and that Romeo will become blinded when he meets Juliet and thats when their terrible fate will begin to come true.
Act 2 Scene 2
Juliets mother and the nurse want her to get to know Paris and they want her to marry him. Juliets mother wants her to "read" Paris's face and to not judge a book by its cover.
Act 4 Scene 1
Then it is likely though wilt undertake a thing like death.
Romeo and Juliet meet for the first time. Romeo is rushing into things and being very impulsive and making decisions based only off emotions. their dialogue consists of references to Relegion and marriage.
Act 5 Scene 2
I could not send it, nor get a messenger to bring it thee.
Romeo is comparing Juliet to the sun and saying that she is the center of his universe and that he couldn't live without her. he is also saying the she brings light to his life.
It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.
Juliet turns to friar lawrence for help because Romeo has been banished and her parents want her to marry Paris. she doesn't know what to do and wants to kill herself, but friar comes up with a plan
Juliet is already "asleep" and friar lawence sends friar john to deliver the letter to Romeo but he is never able to get it to him so Romeo end s up believing the Juliet is actually dead.
