Once upon a time, in a finntastic place called Finnland, there lived a princess named Finnley. Finnley was extremely smart and was Fysix Finnatic. These traits were what made all the people of Finnland, the finnions, love her so much.
Of course, the Evil Queen, Finna, was angry that the finnions liked Princess Finnley more than her, so she tried to come up with a plan that would get rid of Princess Finnley.
Finna sent a big, scary fire-breathing dragon named Beruce to terrorize Finnland. Princess Finnley was in danger and all of the finnions were trying to figure out a way to save her.
To save the princess, the fairy queen named Finnja cast a spell on a nearby finnion named Finneas. This spell gave Finneas the powerful knowledge of Fysix.
Finneas raced up the steps of the palace to go save Princess Finnley. When he got there he tried to think of a way to make Beruce go away, but then he remembered that Finnja had also given him a spell that would make Beruce friendly. In order to give the spell to Beruce, Finneas had to use projectile motion.
Finneas only had one shot to hit Beruce with the potion, so he had to be 100% sure that he was throwing it correctly. First, Finneas asked Princess Finnley how far up the balcony was from the ground. She said, "I believe it's about 8 meters." Finneas and Finnley both knew that gravity was 9.8 m/s/s, so they were able to calculate the time it would take for the potion to hit Beruce by using the equation t=sqroot(2dy/g).
