Yue Fei was born in Henan Anyang, 1103.
As Yue Fei was becoming a man, China was invaded by the Jurchens, and the emperor needed strong soldiers. Yue Fei hesitated to join the army.
To encourage him, his mother tattooed 精忠报国 on his back. Yue Fei understood and quickly went off to battle.
Yue Fei was very brave and had great military skills. He successfully defeated the Jurchens.
Yue Fei's great achivements made the other generals jealous. They told lies about Yue Fei to the emperor.
Yue Fei was sentenced to prison and executed by the emperor in 1142.
