I'm so glad Henry Ford's Model T is so inexpensive, I can now travel the country cheaply and see all the sights I've wanted to!
I've read that Ford's invention of the assembly line, based on Fordism, allowed him to manufacture these cars so quickly for such a cheap cost. I wonder what other inventions like this will pop up soon.
This is amazing! Automobiles have gotten me this far already, I wonder how they'll be in the future. I can be truly independent and mobile, traveling across the country whenever I want.
What is that? It can't be! That's an aeroplane, invented by the Wright Brothers in December of 1903. Their invention revolutionized our mail delivery service in the U.S. and even serves to entertain at air shows.
Additionally, more people started to travel by air on regularly scheduled airlines after Charles Lindbergh became the first person to fly solo across the Atlantic.
Although airplanes had improved transportation and commerce, they also revolutionized warfare. Military airplanes could drop bombs on cities from above and guns could be mounted on top of the planes.
