Storyboard Text

  • Henry Tudor was sent to France for safety reasons, Henry is here for many years and learns about being a good leader.
  • Henry decided to try to take back the Throne. He landed at Milford Haven in Wales with 2,000 French Troops.
  • As Henry went through settlements to reach the battleground, supporters would join him, helping him gather 5,000 troops.
  • However one of Richard's Commanders, Stanley was thinking of changing sides, he had around 6,000 troops.
  • They reach the battleground at Bosworth Field but Richard III came with double the number that Henry had. 
  • Stanley joined Henry. Henry now had a large advantage, Richard was furious of this and charged deep into Henry's Lines but got stuck and he got killed on the spot.
  • BATTLE OF BOSWORTH
  • The Battle took place on the 22nd August, 1485.
  • Henry Tudor won the Battle. House of Lancaster becomes the ruling house and Henry takes the throne as Henry the VII.
