  • Exposition
  • My father is Apollo. He is the lord of the sun. I go visit him and I ride his chariot . Next time I am going to ride the chariot by myself.
  • My father is the chief god, king of the mountains, and lord of the sky. His name is Zeus. I go visit him and I get to throw thunderbolts at things.
  • Rising Action
  • Father can I ride your golden chariot by myself? Please??
  • Okay, but you need to learn some rules. Don't go to high because you might freeze Earth or don't go too low because you can burn Earth.
  • Rising Action
  • We are almost close to Epahus's house! We are almost going to have to go lower to circle around Epahus's house 3 times.
  • Neigh!!
  • Phaethon and Epahus get into an argument after Epahus loses a race. Phaethon lies about knowing his father, Apollo, about visiting his father, and about knowing how to ride his father's golden chariot.
  • Climax
  • Oh no!! I flew to close to Earth and it burned up!! My father is going to be very mad.
  • Epahus didn't believe that next time Phaethon would be able to ride his father's golden chariot by himself so Phaethon and Epahus made a deal. While Phaethon was riding the chariot he would have to circle around Ephaus's house 3 times. So Phaethon went to his father.
  • Falling Action
  • HEY!! That isn't Apollo. I will need to throw one of my lighting bolts.
  • While Phaethon was riding the golden chariot everything was going great because he was staying on the path, not flying too low nor too high. Then he was getting closer to Epahus's house. He was going to circle around his house 3 times.
  • Resolution
  • I miss my brother!!
  • As Phaethon was approachign Earth, Earth was starting to burn and then Earth burned. Earth was on fire! When Phaethon was trying to go back on the path, he accidently went to high and Earth started to freeze.
  • Then Phaethon couldn't control the horses. While Zeus was looking down at Earth he saw people dying, burning forests, and a weird frost. When he looked at who was in the chariot, it was not Apollo so he shot Phaethon with a lighting bolt causing him to die.
  • Phaethon's sisters cried and cried by the river that he fell in. Apollo, not being able to comfort them, he turned them into poplar trees. Here his sisters still stand weeping. After this accident Apollo didn't let anyone ride the chariot except for himself.
