- Hey kid I'm Captain Computational thinking I'll teach you how to make a PB J with computational thinking
- How do I make a PB J?
- First we got to use decomposition. So basically we break up the problem into pieces. So first we need to find the Peanut butter and then we have to find the jelly and the bread. Then we have put it all together.
- Okay I got it what next?
- Now we have to do Abstraction. That means we have to focus on the most important thing in this case the hardest thing.
- I think that is putting the peanut butter and jelly together
- So now we have to find the parts that are similar. What are the parts that are similar?
- Pattern Recognition
- Yeah we put the bread on the start and when we put the bread on top those steps are similar.
- Now its time to do all the steps!!
- Algorithmic Thinking
- So first I put the bread on the table then I put the Peanut butter and then place the jelly. Then finish it off with the last piece of bread
- Now you have to improve the sandwich that's called Debugging
- DeBugging
- Instead of using wheat bread I'll use white bread to improve the taste
