Storyboard Text

  • Hi, I am a water molecule.
  • Today, I am going to take you along on a trip.
  • First off, the sun heats up water in seas, rivers, lakes and glaciers. The water molecules evaporate and rises up into the atmosphere.
  • Water is also evaporated from plants which is called transpiration.
  • When the water vapor reaches cooler temperatures, they turn into clouds.
  • When it becomes too heavy for the clouds to hold anymore water vapor, the water droplets fall down as rain.
  • The rain that falls down gets collected into bodies of water such as rivers, lakes, and streams.
  • Rainwater also gets soaked up by the soil. This would then be found as groundwater.
