  • My comic book (For covalent bonds):Just an ordinary day in the life of atoms. In the universe of ''Just an ordinary day in the life of atoms'', there are atoms that live in cities & other places instead of humans, and they act identical to us.One major change is that in this universe, atoms use their valence electrons as currency whenever they have to pay for something.
  • Hello hydrogen atoms, today I would like to take the taxi, but the problem is that I don't have enough v.e.'s, could you do me a favor and give me a few atoms?
  • O

  • If we're going to the same place, then maybe we can share our v.e.'s and even make a bond!
  • H
  • If you don't have enough v.e.'s to pay, then you must get in as a bond to have enough v.e.'s!
  • Pb
  • However, not all atoms can do this. Atoms of nonmetals have the advantage to ''share'' their v.e.'s when they're paying. Ionic atoms can send v.e.'s to other elements
  • Could you give us a moment to bond together as atoms sir? it'll take just a few seconds
  • O
  • H
  • Okay, let's do it!

  • The road might be a bit longer, but it was worth the bond I think, you get it? :)
