  • Reverend Parris saw all the girls in the forest dancing and his servant Tituba.
  • My daughter and my niece I discovered dancing like heathen in the forest
  • Rumors have spread around town that witchcraft is the cause of Betty’s illness.
  • I have sent for Reverend Hale will surely confirm that.Let him look to medicine and put out all thought of unnatural causes here. There be none.
  • Abigail makes the girls swear to never tell the truth
  • Let either of you breathe a word, or the edge of a word, about the other things, and I will come to you in the black of some terrible night and I will bring a pointy reckoning that will shudder you.
  • Reverend Hale arrives from the town of Beverly to investigate the situation and see if he can detect any signs of witchcraft
