Storyboard Description

The message of the story is to show how ugly hatred can be. In some people's eyes this story is about slavery. The dark brown dog represents an African American slave. The young boy and his family are his owner. The dog (slave) gets beaten by his owners which represents slavery and abuse. Even though the story is very sad it is also very honest and shows how terrible people can truly treat others through abuse, suffering, and loss. They are all very sad topics, but they are the reality many people over the years have suffered.
