  • Many Parisian women were angry over the rising of bread, and with weapons marched on Versailles.
  • Execution of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette
  • Im Louis XVI

  • The document guaranteed citizens equal justice, freedom of speech, and freedom of religion. It also stated that "men are born and remain equal in rights."
  • Rise of Napoleon
  • "Savior of the French Republic!"
  • The period of Robespierre's new rule. It enabled French citizens to remain true to the ideals of the Revolution. Around 40,000 people were executed and 20,000 people were arrested during the Reign of Terror.

  • At the march of Versailles the two were forced to move to Tuileries, then the two were forced to flee to Austria. Both of them died by the guillotine. 
  • As an officer, he became the "Savior of the French Republic." When he successfully defended the National Convention from royalists. 
  • The Battle of Trafalgar was Napolean's only loss in a major battle in his drive for a European Empire.
