Storyboard Text

  • It all started when my mother and I were on our way home from the store.
  • Oh no, mom! A flat!
  • I’m sure I have a spare in the trunk.
  • As my mom changed the tire, I thought to myself...
  • When Temperature increases, pressure increases.
  • I wonder what could’ve caused this flat, because we didn’t run over anything.
  • The next day I was in science, and I thought about the flat and how we could’ve gotten it.
  • I was just wondering why you think we could’ve gotten a flat?
  • Mr. S, me and my mom were driving yesterday and got a flat without running over anything.
  • Hmm, good question. It could have been the heat.
  • Gay Lussac’s law
  • This is because hot weather means more temperature which allows pressure to increase.
  • Usually hot tires tend to explode in hot weather.
