Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • Conflict
  •                  Rising Action
  • Steve Harmon, Bobo Evans, Osvaldo Cruz, James King are the main characters in the book. The book is written in Steve's point of view. At the moment this takes place at a drugstore in Harlem, New York.
  • Climax
  • The conflict of the story is that Steve Harmon have been accused of murder during a robbery in a drugstore.
  • Falling Action
  • Steve Harmon is in court with his defender Miss O'Brien and they are talking about what happened to Mr.Nesbitt and how he died. Attorneys are putting witnesses on stand to testify. Bobo Evans was put on stand then he mentioned Steve in the robbery and that is when things kind of went downhill for Steve.
  •                     Resolution
  • For the climax, Bobo mentioned Steve in the robbery and it didn't look too good for Steve. Bobo was testifing against Steve and King but before, Bobo had a different story so things didn't add up.  The two different stories from Bobo got Bobo in to a deeper hole and that made a turning point for Steve.
  • Miss O'brien did a little test with Steve before he would go on stand to tell his side of the story. Miss O'brien did a cup game test and Steve is suppose to answer the questions Miss O'brien asked him truthfully and if the cup is down that means it is a lie and if the cup is up then he answered truthfully. This will prepare Steve to be on stand.
  • It's the day after Steve testified and it is the day where Steve gets to hear if he is guilty or not. Steve was very nervous at the hearing and you can see that his parents are anxious to know whether their son is going to come home or not. Steve was proven to be not guilty while King was sentenced to 25 years , Bobo is still in jail from is acts and Osvaldo was arrested for stealing a car and sent to a reformatory.
