  • Due to this dramatic change, In 1763 Chief Pontiac (of the Odawa tribe) sets up a plan to attack the British force at Detroit due to fear that the british would take over all of there land. But while in his attempt to attack the British sent 250 troops to plot a surprise attack on the tribe.  But withina month the Odawa tribe took down 7 of the British forts.
  • So warriors from the Odawa Tribe and other Indian tribes in the lake superior and the lower Mississippi were ordered and supported by Chief Pontiac to start a war at the British fort in Detroit. Many British people were killed during this rebellion, and many forts were instantly destroyed from the aftermath.
