Today we are learning about Newton's First Law
Ok y'all take your notebooks out well take a couple notes on the first law and then we'll do a lab.
Ok Mrs. Taylor
The car will keep moving forward until it meets the wall
Newton's first law states that every object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless an unbalanced forces acts on it.
You have to wear a seat belt!
Right now the car is going to keep moving forward do to inertia, and the wall will stay still do to inertia until they meet.
I told you!
I should have worn a seat belt.
At this moment both the car and wall have the same net force causing them to cancel out which makes the car stop.
Science was awesome today.
Now if a person is in the car, with their seat belt on they will stop with the car.If your seat belt is off though, inertia will keep you moving forward.
This is why we should consider all of Newton's laws in a day to day bases ,because they could just save your life in a crash.
There is always interesting information you can learn when it comes to science.
