Storyboard Text

  • On June 28, 1914, Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie were visiting the town of Sarajevo, the capital of Bosina.
  • In the large crowd was six teenagers who had sworn to kill the Archduke. They were each hidden in plain sight, waiting for their oppurtunity.
  • The car then passed the first assassin, who was too scared to attempt, so he just let them pass by.
  • As the car began to pass the bridge the second assassin threw his bomb at the car and then jumped into the river. The Archduke saw the bomb and tried to protect his wife. The bomb then proceeded to injure the other people in the back car.
  • After the incident the Archduke would drive to the hospital to check on the injured people. The new route was taken ti avoid anymore threats.
  • The driver did not understand the route and made a wrong turn. Right onto the street where Princip was on. Princip then proceeded to fire two shots killing the Archduke and his wife. Sparking WWI.
