Storyboard Text

  • Newton's First Law
  • Newton's second law
  • Newton's Third Law
  • In the first scene we can see a person pushing another person showing that the person that is falling down is pushed by an unbalanced force.  For Newtons first law an object would stay at rest unless acted upon.
  • In this scene we can see that there is a child and his parent.  The child would be able to walk faster because the child has less mass than the adult meaning that the child has to use less force.  On the other hand the adult has more mass meaning that the adult has to use more force to move.
  • In this last scene we can see a person shooting a basketball.  The person is pushing on the the ball so it would go in the hoop, this case this would be the action.  The ball moving to the hoop is the opposite reaction because the person used the force to move it and it is going to the hoop.
