Storyboard Text

  • Thank you for the information. Now, I will ask God some questions about the covenant.
  • How does Jesus relate to this covenant? What does the Romans 1: 1-7 scripture talk about? And how are people saved? How does Jesus connect the Old and New Testament?
  • Jesus connects the Old Testament and is the symbol of God’s saving plan and the New Testament is the salvation through Jesus Christ. Everybody is welcome in the kingdom of God, and it doesn’t matter if they are Jewish, Gentile, religion, race and culture.
  • Well, those are good questions. OK, Jesus relates to this covenant because his life, death and resurrection is about God’s saving plan. Jesus if the fulfillment of all covenants and saves everyone.
  • The Romans 1: 1-7 scripture talks about Jesus saving everyone. The people are saved through grace.
  • Okay, thank you to prophet Abraham and God. To recap what happened concerning this covenant about Abraham and God.
  • Features are that God promised Abraham three things: great nation, promised land and blessing. God’s saving plan was put into action through Abraham.
  • So, firstly, he had to leave his home to go to the land of Canaan. Theme of the covenant is obeying God’s words and blessing Abraham’s family.
  • These two beings made a covenant and God promised Abraham quite a few things.
  • Luckily, Abraham got those things. The covenants are an agreement between God and a prophet. They mean they God promises the prophet something and in return the prophet will have to do something.
  • In the Abraham covenant, it is circumcision. Now, once again thank you to Abraham and God for being with us today.
  • Thank you everyone, that’s all for today and now back to you in the studio
