  • Setting and Characters
  • Here I am, all alone again. At least you have something to entertain yourself, but I don't have a baby to look after.
  • My dear wife, I'm going fishing. See you later
  • Conflict
  • Look what I found at the sea. I brought it for you.
  • Rising Action
  • Come on Greyling, let's play together.
  • This is the story of a fisherman and his wife who lived in a little hut by the sea, and needed a baby to complete their happiness, but they could not have it. She felt sad and alone.  
  • Climax
  • Help!!! I'm drowning. Please help me!!!
  • Thank you for saving me dear son
  • The fisherman found a baby seal and took it for his wife, but when he brought it to her, they discovered it was a selchie, a seal in the water and a boy in land. They were very happy with their new son. and they named him Greyling
  • Resolution
  • Greyling was growing fast but they didn't let him go in the water because he will turn into a seal again if he does so. They were very happy. 
  • End
  • One day a storm came and the fisherman was in risk of drowning and nobody wanted to risk their live and try to save him.
  • Greyling went to save his father, and as soon as he touched the water, he became a big seal, and when he saved his father , he returned to the sea where he belonged.
  • Oh my dear Greyling, you are so brave, thank you.
  • Once a year, a great grey seal is seen at night near the fisherman's hut. He comes to tell his parents tales and to sing them songs of the wonders that lie far  beneath  the sea.
