  • Daedalus,could you build a palace and maze for me?
  • Rising Action
  • What could King Minos need a maze like this for?
  • Rising Action
  • It`s a minotaur!
  • What is this creature?
  • A father and a son,(Daedalus and Icarus ),were summoned by King Minos.King Minos wanted Daedalus To build a palace with a maze inside.
  • Climax
  • But How?
  • We need to find a way out!
  • Daedalus set to work building what he was instructed to do.He questioned what the maze was going to be used for,but he left it and kept working.
  • Falling Action
  • Try not to fly to close to the sun.
  • i`ll do my best.
  • After building the maze,Daedalus found out the true use of it.King Minos intended on using the maze to trap prisoners in.He put a half beast half man creature called a minotaur inside to feed off of the prisoners.
  • Resolution
  • oh no!
  • After they finished their work there,they tried to leave the island before anything happened to them.But King Minos had a different plan,he planned on trapping Daedalus and Icarus in the palace.They were not allowed to leave because they knew too much about the maze.They had to find a way to escape.
  • Daedalus made a pair of wings out of feathers for Icarus to fly out of the palace to freedom.
  • Icarus did not listen to his father which ultimately resulted in him flying to close to the sun.The moral of the story is that you should listen to your parents in dangerous situations or it can lead to dangerous results.
