This storyboard does not have a description.
"I just can't help it if Mister Jem's growing up. He's gonna want to be off to himself a lot now, doing whatever boys do, so you just come right on in the kitchenwhen you feel lonesome. We'll find lots of things to do in here."
"Yeah, but he makes certain your teacher's gonna be there. I didn't hear him say this time-- reckon he forgot it." Calpurnia scratched her head. Suddenly she smiles. "How'd you and Mister Jem like to come to church with me tomorrow."
Calpurnia made Scout and Jem dress nicely, then drove them to her church.
"Lula stopped, but she said, 'You ain't got no business bringin' white chillun here-- they got their church, we got our'n. It is our church, ain't it, Miss Cal?"
The church sings the hymns without hymn books, to Scout's surprise. What they do, is Zeebo says the words, then the people repeat him. This apparently means that they do not have enough money to buy hymn books.
