He was a bell ringer at a church. After his father's death, he took over his father's hardware store. He also made things like rings, beads, picture frames, shoe buckles and candle sticks.
He marries Sarah Orne and has 8 children, 2 of which who died. Then Sarah dies and he marries Rachel Walker. He has another 8 children, 3 of which who died.

After the French fell back, the English started demanding taxes. The one tax they never stopped demanding was tea taxes. So Paul Revere became the leader of the Sons of Liberty, a secret club to oppose the English. One night, they dressed up as Native Americans, marched up onto a ship and dumped 10,000 pounds of tea into the sea.
On April 15, English scouts were observed. Paul Revere rode on his horse and delivered a message to the citizens of the town. "If we light two lamps on the steeple of the North Church, the English will be coming by sea. If we light one lamp, they will be coming by land.
