  • Um, well I am looking for a summer job...
  • An E-Portfolio is a reflection of our learning journey. It is an online tool that helps you reflect on your learning at UFV. It can be used to make a collection of your best work at UFV. You also can use it to show your progress in your studies!
  • What is the value of the E-Portfolio?
  • You can structure your E-Portfolio in different ways. For Arts 101 you structure it by using 9 ILOS which are the learning outcomes that you are striving to meet. The learning outcomes are meant to push you to become a better student and a better citizen. Under each ILO you can add artifacts which demonstrate your learning. You also add a reflection which shows your understanding of the learning process.
  • Tips To Students: E-Portfolios are meant to be shared!
  • This is my E-Portfolio... what do you think?
  • An E-Portfolio can help advance you in your career. This tool can help you create an online platform that helps promote yourself and your abilities.
  • Quote
  • "Electronic portfolios (e-portfolios) are a paradigm in constructivist e-learning. They are capable of involving students in deep learning while serving as a meaningful way for both students and faculty to engage in outcomes-based assessment."
  • An E-Portfolio also can show your progress and how far you have come from day one. This is a very important aspect as it can show you how much you have learned. It can also show others that you are striving to improve and are willing to make mistakes to achieve great things!
  • Sharing your E-Portfolios can be a good way to get feedback! A part of the reflective process is receiving and using constructive criticism from others. This is a way to make your E-portfolio better! You also should give others meaningful feedback! E-Portfolio's can be used to connect yourself with others!
  • This is a great summarization of what an E-Portfolio is from Nicole Buzzetto-More. Buzzetto-More, Nicole. "Assessing the Efficiency and Effectiveness of an E-Portfolio Used for Summative Assesment." Interdisciplinary Journal of E-Learning and Learning Objects 6 (2010): 61-85.
