  • Today I am going to declare my independence for my country from Britain. 
  • Today, George Washington is going to declare that he wants independence for his country from Britain.  He feels that his country could strive and have more potential without Britain on his/there back. 
  • Tomorrow we shall declare our independence from Britain!
  • Yah!
  • Why do we want independence...?
  • They cut off our trade with the parts of the world. They abolished the free system of English laws. Constrained our fellow citizens. Refused to assent laws. And obstructed the Administration of Justice. And most importantly, made us feel like we were under your control. We don't want that anymore!
  • Over the past days, I have come up with a list of things that Britain has restricted us from doing or things that they have imposed that I think are unfair. Today i have gathered you fine gentlemen here to sign it. Its called the Declaration of Independence. 
  • On August 2, 1776, fifty-six outstanding and powerful men, signed the Declaration of Independence that had just been approved by congress.
