The father of Remus and Romulus was scared that one day they would overthrow him so he set them off onto the Tiber River in a basket.
Palatine Hill would be great!
Aventine Hill would be the better option though!
A she-wolf had found the boys and she had cared for them and protected them from other animals.
As the boys grew older, Remus was captured by the king. Romulus gathered shepards to kill the king and to save is brother. The city learned about the boys and offered the crown to them which they turned down.
The boys went to Rome and wanted to place a city on different hills. Romulus liked Palatine Hill, but Remus liked Aventine Hill.
Romulus went to start building a wall around the hill. Remus teased Romulus and jumped over it to show how silly it was which led to Romulus killing Remus!
Now that Remus was dead, Romulus kept working on his city and founded it. He made himself king and named it Rome which was named after him. The city are larger and larger!
