- I'm Atticus, I am the father of scout and Jem. I am also a lawyer who is defending tom Robinson. I am mostly a serious man in the story.

- I'm calpurnia, I am a mother figure for jem and scout. I'm an African American woman who cooks and raises the finch kids.I've been cooking for the finch family since Jem was born.
