The cows kicked down the barn door due to starvation, causing Farmer Jones and his men to come and check out what's going on.
Manor Farm Animal
The animals run farmer Jones and his men off the farm. The revolution has begun.
The 7 Amendments 1. Whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy. 2. Whatever goes upon four legs, or has wings, is a friend. 3. No animal shall wear clothes. 4.No animal shall sleep in a bed. 5. No animal shall drink alcohol. 6. No animal shall kill any other animal. 7. All animals are equal.
The animals are overjoyed to have ran Mr. Jones and his men off the farm. To ensure their safety, the animals circle the farm to make sure there are no humans left.
To make their rule official, the animals rename "Manor Farm" to "Animal Farm".
To ensure structure in their in their new society, the animals create 7 amendments, which they paint on the wall of the big barn.
Snowball and Napoleon order the animals to get to work in the fields so that the animals get into the harvest faster than Mr. Jones did. However, while the animals are away, Napoleon secretly drinks all the milk that had milked from the cows that day.
