Tim is on his way to work as an educator at the California Academy of the Sciences (in San Francisco).
Tim is annoyed by constantly sitting in Bay Area traffic, and he notices the effect it has on the environment around him.

As Tim approaches work, he checks his phone's app "SUNDIAL" to see the air quality and weather for the rest of the day, so he can determine if he can walk somewhere for lunch later.
At work, Tim educates museum-goers about climate change. He uses the "SUNDIAL" app to explore the map and explain the different environmental changes that are currently happening in the places he selects.
Tim explains that people can use the "SUNDIAL" app to also learn about sustainable food/products, and donate to causes they are passionate about. In return, they can receive points to use as "money" towards places like REI, The North Face, Patagonia, etc who have decided to partner with the app.
During his free time, Tim rock climbs and volunteers with Save the Bay. He found Save the Bay through the "SUNDIAL" app. He just entered his zip code and a list of environmental nonprofits came up. Tim was then able to donate to the cause and see their volunteer schedule.
