Storyboard Text

  • CO2
  • Plants use water, sunlight, and CO2 for photosynthesis.( 6CO2 + 6H2O + light energy = C6H12O6 + 6O2). They then make oxygen and glucose
  • ATP
  • During light-dependent reactions they make ATP
  • During light-independent reactions plants use ATP for energy
  • Other organisms use the oxygen and glucose from the plants
  • They then go through cellular respiration (C6H12O6 + 6O2 → 6CO2 + 6H2O + 38 ATP)
  • The ATP is then made in the mitochondria
  • The organisms then release CO2 and water back to the plants.
