Welcome to the West, the Dust Bowl and droughts are common even before the Great Depression started.
The factory is bankrupt, all workers are fired.
The banks are frozen, there is no money to give back. Independent Banks were not backed by the Government, and had to close due to the Stock Market Crash.
We have been in debt since the early 1920's. Will our hardship ever end?
The factory owner fired almost everyone from working, and now I cannot help keep my family fed. And I think the owner fired mom too.
Over 9,000 banks failed after the Stock Market Crash, and the amount of money lost during the 1930's was approximately $140 Billion.
