  • What is Mitosis?
  • I'm not ready for this Bio quiz! I can't remember what Mitosis is?
  • Hey! Don't stress, I can help! Mitosis is a part of the eukaryotic cell divison during which the cell divides.
  • What happens during Mitosis ?
  • What happens during Mitosis?
  • Mitosis goes through 4 phases.
  • It goes through the Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, and the Telophase.
  • Prophase
  • What is the Prophase?
  • It is the first stage of Mitosis and usually the longest stage.
  • And it can take up the total time required to complete mitosis.
  • During this stage the nuclear envelope breaks down exposed chromosomes.
  • Metaphase
  • Hey! Whats the Metaphase again?
  • This phase is generally the shortest stage.
  • Anaphase
  • It is the third phase of mitosis and it begins when the sister chromatids separate and begin to move apart.
  • Basically, just remember that the sister chromatids move away from each other and separate.
  • Good Luck Guys!
  • Take you seats class the quiz is about to begin!
  • Telophase
  • What's the Telophase?- Hurry before the quiz starts!
  • Mitosis Quiz Today!
  • The chromosomes begin to spread out into a tangle of chromatin.
  • It is the second stage of Mitosis.
  • Also, the chromosomes line up up in the middle of the cell.
  • I can't remember the Anaphase!
  • It's the fourth and final phase of mitosis.
  • Then, the nuclear endoplasmic reforms to prepare for the next stage of cell division the cytokinesis.
