  • I am scared that Macbeth's compassion is going to get in the way of his ambition and therefore won't be able to achieve greatness. He is too full of purity. How will he become King?
  • It is true. Macbeth is coming and sent a servant ahead of him to convey the message to you.
  • You must be mad to say that. Isn’t Macbeth with the king, and wouldn’t he have told me beforehand so I could prepare, if the king was really coming?
  • The king will come here tonight.
  • So Duncan will come here tonight, where he will die. Come spirits that assist murderous thoughts, make me less like a woman and more like a man, and fill me from head to toe with cruelty.
  • and when does he leave?
  • Tommorow
  • My dearest love, Duncan is coming here tonight.
  • That day will nevercome for him. But your face conveys strange feelings. Greet the king with a welcoming expression in your eyes, your hands, and your words. You should look like an innocent flower, but be like the snake that hides underneath the flower. The king is coming, and he’s got to be taken care of. Let me handle tonight’s preparations, because tonight will change every night and day for the rest of our lives.
  • We will speak further about this.
  • You should act normal, because if you look troubled, you will create suspicion. Leave the rest to me.
