well a motif is an idea repeating
Dad what is a motif?
"will we always have to choose between home and home?"(Pg104).
This shows a motif because home is the idea they are talking about and they repeat home more then once.
yes because home is reapeted more than once in the text it states,
Is home an example from the book brown girl dreaming
So another quote could be,"
another piece of evidence is, "aunt kay's hearing it , and thinking about coming on home."(pg50) This shows that in this page it says home more than once and home is the idea again.
Another piece of evidence Is ," New York my mother says soon I will find a place then come back and bring you all home"(pg104)This shows that on page 104 shows more than one quote of home and the idea runs through out the story.
So that is a motif and some examples of it.
