Storyboard Text

  • Long ago, the world was inhabited only by a magical unicorn.  The unicorn lived happily in its dry, quiet cave for thousands of years...
  • One day, the unicorn realised that it was all alone in the cave, so it decided to venture forth to find company and friendship.
  • When the unicorn emerged from its cave, it looked far across the plains for other creatures, but it was dismayed to find that the outside world was just as lonely as the cave.  There was not another living creature to be seen.
  • It began to cry.
  • The tears ran and ran from the unicorn's eyes, glittering with magic.  The dry soil lapped the tears up, as this was the first water known to the world. Soon, a pond appeared.
  • With the water came the first tiny creatures of the world. The unicorn was overjoyed to see the animals and decided to explore the rest of the world.
  • With every step the unicorn took, a million blades of lush grass sprung from the ground. With the grass came more animals with which the unicorn could share the world.
  • As more and more creatures appeared, the unicorn reared on its hind legs in glee. At that moment, mountains erupted from the flat ground, pointy like the horn of the unicorn, and thick trees shot up into the air, tall and strong.
  • The unicorn's magic spread across the globe and breathed life into all the animals and plants.  From that point on, the creatures lived in harmony and the unicorn watched over its companions, protecting and caring for them for all the years to come.
