Storyboard Text

  • when I hit the soccer ball I think I...I.. broke my knee. It hurts so much!
  • WHAT HAPPEN? WHY ARE YOU CRYING?
  • MY... MY.. KNEE HURTS!
  • WHAT HAPPEN?!!!!!
  • So with the X rays it shows that you sprain your knee when you ran and kicked the ball it will take about 2 to 4 weeks to heal but you need to rest the joint of your knee, and put ice one your knee to reduce the swelling you also need Physical therapy for 3 to 4 weeks. you will also not be able to walk because the ligament is not in the correct place and will harm your walking
  • Will he be able to play soccer
  • Um... within 2 to 4 weeks he can play soccer but you have to first come and see me just in case it didn't heal correctly.
  • Oh... ok
  • I think it will take 5 weeks to heal your sprain knee because the Tibia, Fibula and the Femur are also injured . His injury affect how they work together because the Tibia, Fibula and the Femur are connected, and since the ligament support the knee and keep the joint and bones in the correct position but since  the knee is injured, it can't do it's job. Which affect the other parts because its not in the correct position so, this all adds up to that the other parts are injured which maybe take 5 weeks.
  •  I search up www.drugs.com/knee sprain and it tells me "NSAIDs , such as ibuprofen, help decrease swelling, pain, and fever. " and  "Elevate your knee above the level of your heart as often as you can. This will help decrease swelling and pain." Also compress with an elastic bandage so I went to the Pharmacy and bought elastic bandage and other things.
