Ann was browsing for some bread. When she noticed the townspeople eyeing her down and whispering. She began to feel confused and anxious. So she decided to go home.
As she was walking to her home. She felt eyes following her footsteps. Ann then glanced over and noticed two females pointing and gossiping. Which only made Ann rush home.
Ann looked in the mirror. And with complete shock, she collapsed to the floor. She began crying out to God, asking him why did he forsake her and begging for his forgiveness.
Lord! Why have you punished me? Why are there bumps all over my face? Why father?! Why?
The next morning, Ann attended church. She wanted to converse with the Saints and ask for their for guidance. Not only that but hoping her doing so will have God answer her prayers and forgive her transgressions.
The Saints told Ann that God is punishing her because she has poor church attendance. And that the only way for God to forgive and bless her again, she needed to pay tithes and attend more often.
Within days Ann participated and paid her tithes weekly. She became a member of the church. Not only that but convinced others to come to prevent the punishment that happened to her from happening to someone else.
