Storyboard Text

  • "Well, look. Lennie- if you jus' happen to get in trouble like you always done before, I want you to come right here an' hide in the brush."
  • Exposition
  • Conflict
  • "Get him, Lennie. Don't let him do it."
  • "Make 'um stop, George."
  • Rising Action
  • "Any you boys seen Curley?"
  • Lennie and George work on ranches. They bounce around from ranch to ranch trying to find work. They work in Soledad, California. This takes place during the 1930s.  
  • Climax
  • "I done a bad thing. I done another bad thing."
  • Curley and Curley's wife are the main conflict in the story. They cause a lot of trouble throughout the story. Curley is jealous of people bigger than him. This caused a fight between Lennie and Curley.
  • Falling Action 
  • "I'm gonna shoot the guts outta that big bastard myself, even if I only got one hand. I'm gonna get 'im."
  • Lennie and Candy went inside the barn where Crooks lives. The ranch hands were at a bar. Lennie and Candy were talking to Crooks. Curley's wife came in and started asking who broke Curley's hand.
  • Resolution
  • "Sure, right now. I gotta. We gotta."
  • While the ranch hands were playing a tournament outside, Lennie was inside of the barn. He had killed his puppy and he was trying to find a way to hide the puppy so that no one could find it. Curley's  wifecame in
  • After Curley had found out that Lennie had killed his wife, he was ready to kill him. Lennie had fled to the woods to hide. Curley, Candy, and George went to hunt him down. Instead of Curley trying to kill Lennie, George said that he was going to.
  • George had found Lennie in the woods. He talked to him about their dream. George told Lennie that he was in trouble for killing Curley's wife. What Lennie didn't know was that he was about to be killed by his own friend.
