Storyboard Text

  • Lady Macbeth and Macbeth are discussing the murder and Macbeth feels guilty about it
  • Methought I heard a voice cry, "Sleep no more! Macbeth does murder sleep"
  • What do you mean?
  • Lady Macbeth chides Macbeth for being such a wuss and orders him to put back the daggers
  • Still it cried "sleep no more!" to all the house.
  • Why did you bring these daggers from the place? They must lie there. Go carry them and smear the sleepy grooms with blood
  • Who was it that thus cried? You do unbend your noble strength to think...of these things.
  • Macbeth refuses and Lady Macbeth is angered but does the job herself
  • I'll go no more. I am afraid to think what I have done.
  • Infirm of purpose! Give me the daggers.
  • Macbeth is feeling horrible about the murder and knows how awful it was of him to do it
  • Will all great Neptune's ocean wash this blood clean from my hand?
  • Lady Macbeth is annoyed that her husband has such a kind personality
  • My hands are of your color, but I shame to wear a heart so white
  • Macbeth and Lady Macbeth flee to their chambers in order not to get caught
  • I hear a knocking at the south entry. Retire we to our chamber. A little water clears us of this deed
  • To know my deed 'there best not know myself
