  • 1810 Napoleon went to war against Russia and 500,000 of his troops died.
  • 1814-1815 Napoleon was exiled to Elba but later escaped and regained control in France
  • This event is important because Napoleon was getting a bit cocky from winning a lot of battles and he was put back into his place because of Britain.
  • 1815-1821 Napoleon was defeated by Britain and Russia and exiled again and later died in exile
  • This event is important because it showed a change in Napoleon. In the beginning of his career he really cared about his troops and fought with them but now he is just focused on winning.
  • 1799 Napoleon and a three part consul overthrew the government and Napoleon became first consul
  • This event is important because it showed how dependent the French people were on Napoleon and his power there.
  • 1804 Napoleon crowns himself emperor of France
  • This event is important because this was the end to Napoleon's rule and his final downfall.
  • This event is important because after Napoleon has a taste of some power, he wants more and this shows his actions to get more power.
  • This event is important because it shows Napoleon will not stop until he has all the power he can get and he is never satisfied with what he has.
