What is acid rain? Its when sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides are emitted into the atmosphere.
it is also a chemical reaction that begins when compounds like sulfur dioxide and hydrogen oxides are released into the air
Acid rain damages plants and animals and causes damage to crops and livestock within our environment.
every morning before Emma goes to work she checks her PH scale in her garage to see how much acid is being produced.
One day after work, Emma went to the local river to decompress. She realized that the acid rain was flowing into the river through the soil and ruining it.
Emma wanted to think of ways that would stop the acid rain. The first thing that came to mind as driving, the nitrogen oxides produced from the car is one of the things that causes the acid rain.
so, Emma decided to stop driving her car and riding her bike to work every day.
If we all make a little change in our routine, we wo all be making a difference for our world just like Emma.
