A frog's muscle generates electricity!! I'll call it "animal electricity!"
That doesn't sound quite right Luigi. I think the frog is simply reacting to the electric shock.
To prove that animal parts weren't needed to conduct electricity, Volta conducted an experiment with stacks of discs made of either zinc or silver.
Voltaic Pile (electric battery)
He discovered that different metals affect the amount of electricity produced.
In that experiment, he came up with "contact theory:" electricity is produced through contact of metals, and some metals in contact produce higher voltages of electricity.
Because of Volta's contribution of the electrical battery, the unit of electric potential was named after him, "volt."
