  • Introduction:  antibiotics, such as penicillin, are medicines that kill and prevent bacteria in the body, But then, antibiotic resistance takes place 
  • Antibiotic Resistance 
  • So the antibiotic is able to kill and prevent some of the bacteria when you first take it, and the stronger ones get killed later.
  • But the more it is in your system, the more the bacteria can adjust to it and begin to resist it 
  • So the company makes another drug to combat bacteria, and the process starts all over again 
  • Conclusion: Natural selection in antibiotic resistance is where the bacteria begins to be able to resist the antibiotic supposed to kill/prevent the bacteria.
