  • Pope
  • King/Monarch
  • nobles/Lords/Barson
  • The Pope was the "ruler" or main governing body of the Catholic Church, and each king was the ruler of his country or estate.
  • Knights/Vassals
  • The Norman dynasty included four Kings of England in the Middle Ages: William the Conqueror 1066-1087.
  • Merchants/farms/Craftsmen
  • Each noble ruled like a little king over the peasants who lived about his castle, and the nobles themselves were joined to each other by an arrangement called "feudalism," which seems very queer to us. It was the rule that every noble must be the "vassal" of some "lord."
  •                                 Pesants/Serfs
  • The knights were heavily armored soldiers who rode on horseback.
  • Common crops produced in the Middle Ages included wheat, beans, barley, peas and oats. ... The oats were usually used to feed livestock.
  • The Medieval peasant together with freeman and villeins, lived on a manor in a village. Most of the peasants were Medieval Serfs or Medieval Villeins
