"Ah, how am I supposed to care about my community, if I do not know how to?"
I cannot fall asleep. I do not know if it is because I do not know how to be a good citizen, or if it is the smell of the week old peanut butter and jelly that I forgot to throw away.
"I am a ghost! You may call me Reduce! I am looking for a citizen who dreams of a cleaner community.
"There are numerous things that you can do to reduce! You can walk to school instead of riding that big, loud, yellow thing, or you can use energy efficient light bulbs!"
"I am a ghost! You can call me Reuse! We have come to find a citizen who dreams of a cleaner community! It is a pleasure to meet you Billy."
"Reusing materials helps give them second chances. This helps create less water and air pollution. You can use glass water bottles like me, instead of the plastic ones that you throw away!"
"I am a ghost! You can call me Recycle! I am looking for a citizen who dreams of a cleaner community! It is a pleasure to meet you Billy."
"Instead of throwing away your crayons when they break, you can melt them in your oven, to create new ones. Also, you can throw away your recyclable materials in me, so that they will go to become something new, instead of sitting in a landfill."
Is it morning already?
"Ah! Today is the day that I present to my class!"
For some reason, I know exactly what it takes to become a citizen who dreams of a cleaner community. One must reduce, reuse, and recycle!
