Storyboard Text

  • Buckle up for safely!
  • Nah, I think it's fine.
  • Oh my gosh. Why is it even that big of a deal?
  • Dude, you really need to put on your seatbelt.
  • It's because of inertia. That pretty much means that if, for some reason, we crashed, then your body would keep moving forward. The seatbelt keeps your body from moving forward.
  • Gee whiz! I better put it on then!
  • Yep! You can thank me later... well actually, just thank the seatbelt and Isaac Newton for making Newtons First Law so we can understand.
  • Uhhh... what's that?
  • It is often referred to as inertia. It states that an object that is at rest, stays at rest, and an object that is in motion, stays in motion unless something stops it.
  • Okay, I get it now!
